IMPACT & INSIGHTS 💡
MARTIN PERRY EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
![]() | ![]() |
We had an exceptional 'BetterMan' event featuring Paralympic table tennis champion Martin Perry. The feedback has been outstanding:
Martin's talk was straight from the heart, and David McIntosh did a brilliant job facilitating. This really was a great event.
Martin is an amazing man in my eyes, not because he won medals or embraced physical disability, but because he can sit amongst a group of men and be entirely vulnerable.
Founder’s Insight:
Over the years, I've worked with three distinct types of organisations:
"Me Too" Organisations: Following standard approaches to employee development and wellbeing.
"Migrators": Beginning to invest more meaningfully in their people, trying different approaches.
"Pioneers": Fully investing in their people with specialised programmes that produce exceptional results.
Size doesn't determine which category an organisation falls into, it's about mindset and commitment to people development.
FLOURISH & FUNDAMENTALS
SLEEP SCIENCE: THE PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE
To see this practice in action, take a look at this clip of me delivering sleep science training for London-based Buddy Media, a company with pioneering aspirations in this field.

In this video, I explain how poor sleep creates a negativity bias.
Did you know managers with a negativity bias are significantly more likely to micromanage their teams, causing relational tension and cultural chaos?
This negative filter doesn't just affect workplace dynamics. It seeps into every aspect of life. Relationships suffer. Creativity diminishes, and even mundane daily decisions become skewed towards pessimism, creating a downward spiral of diminished results across all domains.
Sleep is the best form of meditation. It increases stress capacity, enhances resilience, and is one of the few LEGAL performance-enhancing interventions readily available.
